Specialist bird/bat surveys

Bat surveys should be carried out prior to planning permission being granted. However, even if permission has already been granted, the Local Planning Authority still has a legal obligation to consider protected species and act to save bats and their roosts.

Here at Arborcut Tree Services, we also abide by the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to ensure that plants and animals habitats are kept intact. In particular, we cannot remove any hedges or bushes that may be occupied with birds nesting until they have flown the nest.
